The Fort Strip in Taguig announces indefinite closure starting 2025

The new year is just around the corner — and we'll be saying goodbye soon to our favorite restaurants and bars at The Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.

On social media on Wednesday, BGC announced the indefinite closure of the entire Fort Strip block beginning January 1, 2025.

"This is goodbye for now but not forever. We'll be back. Better than you remember, and better than you can imagine," BGC wrote.

"Until we close up on January 1, feel free to hang out at The Strip like you've always done!"

Famous spots at the Fort Strip include Nectar Nightclub, Yes Please, Wow Cow BBQ, and Samgyuniku, among others.

In November, Nectar announced its permanent closure in BGC starting January 1, 2025.

However, all is not lost for Nectar, as the bar is gearing up for its next chapter in a different location, and more details about it are coming soon.

Nectar is known for producing some of the country's finest drag queens, including Marina Summers, Taylor Sheesh, Aries Night, and O-A.
