GMA Network and the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) on Monday to promote responsible viewership.

The agreement aims to strengthen MTRCB's “Responsableng Panonood Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas-Tara Nood Tayo!” campaign, according to a press release by the review board.

Under the partnership, MTRCB’s infomercial will be aired across GMA Network channels to “ensure that Filipino families are informed about the importance of age-appropriate media choices.”

During the MOA signing, MTRCB Chairperson Lala Sotto-Antonio expressed her utmost gratitude to the Kapuso network for supporting their campaign.

“The MTRCB recognizes the power of media as a force for good, and this partnership demonstrates our steadfast dedication to working with industry leaders like GMA Network in creating a brighter, more responsible media landscape,” Sotto-Antonio said.

“Thank you, GMA Network, for being a true ally of the government in this endeavor. Mabuhay ang Bagong Pilipino sa Bagong Pilipinas."

Meanwhile, GMA Network Senior Vice President, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, emphasized in her speech the network’s commitment to promoting the government's aims and programs through the campaign.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the MTRCB for the opportunity to broadcast your infomercial campaign on GMA. Kami po ay isa sa puso sa inyong adbokasiyang Responsableng Panonood tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas,” Gozon-Valdes said.

“This initiative not only promotes responsible viewing but also celebrates Filipino creativity and values. Rest assured, GMA is committed to supporting this endeavor and aligning with your vision for a more informed and engaged audience,” she added.
