‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ album of BTS’s RM among Rolling Stone’s ‘100 Best Albums of 2024’
The “Right Place, Wrong Person” album of BTS member RM has made it to Rolling Stone’s “100 Best Albums of 2024!”
The K-pop star’s second solo album, which ranked 88th on the list, was described by the music and pop culture publication as “psychedelia-tinged and soulful."
Meanwhile, Charli XCX’s hit album “Brat” was named as the magazine’s Best Album of 2024.
This was followed by Beyonce's "Cowboy Carter," MJ Lenderman's "Manning Fireworks," Sabrina Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet," Billie Eilish's "Hit Me Hard and Soft," Tyla's "Tyla," Future amd Metro Boomin's "We Don't Trust You," Ariana Grande's "Eternal Sunshine," Doechii's "Alligator Bites Never Heal," and Waxahatchee's "Tigers Blood."
RM released “Right Place, Wrong Person” in May. The album consists of 11 songs that fall within the alternative genre. It includes the songs “Come Back to Me,” “LOST!” and “Groin.”
According to BIG HIT, the tracks capture “some of the universal emotions that we all experience at some point in life, such as the feeling of being an outsider who doesn’t fit in.”
In September, RM announced his documentary film, “RM: Right People, Wrong Place,” which follows the making of his second album, as well as his journey in searching for his true self. It will premiere in Philippine cinemas this December.
BTS is currently on a hiatus as the members undergo their mandatory military service. Jin is the first member to be discharged, and the boys are set to reconvene as a group in 2025.
