Aegis to give portion of Valentine concert proceeds to Mercy Sunot's family

Aegis will be giving a portion of the proceeds of its "Aegis: Halik sa Ulan/Valentine Special" concert to the family of its late vocalist, Mercy Sunot.

The OPM rock band made the announcement via Facebook on Tuesday.

"We are with Aegis in prayers for the beautiful soul of Mercy Sunot. Your outstanding talent will always be remembered," the band said. "Part of the proceeds of Aegis: Halik sa Ulan / A Valentine Special will be given to the family of Mercy Sunot."

The band will hold its Valentine Special concert on February 1 and 2, 2025 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City

Tickets to the concert are now available via Ticketnet. Prices range from P2,882 for Balcony up to P9,819 for SVIP tickets.

Mercy passed away due to cancer on November 18.

Just days before, she took to social media to ask for prayers after she underwent lung surgery.

Aegis is known for its hits "Luha," "Halik," "Basang-Basa sa Ulan," "Sinta, and more.
