'A Minecraft Movie' gives glimpse of the Overworld in official trailer

The "Minecraft" live action movie has finally released its official trailer, giving more glimpse into the Overworld.

The two-minute video uploaded on Warner Bros. Pictures' YouTube showed Steve (Jack Black)'s love for mining ever since he was a kid, as well as his unexpected discovery of the Overworld as he grew older.

Steve was later on joined by new characters played by Jason Momoa, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks, and Sebastian Eugene as they begin their Minecraft journey.

They will try to save the Overworld from being destroyed by dark forces.

"A Minecraft Movie" is set to premiere on April 4, 2025.

Filming for the project finished in April 2024 and the movie teaser was released in September.
