Miss Grand India Organization parts ways with Miss Grand International

Miss Grand India Organization announced that it is parting ways with the Miss Grand International Organization.

In a statement dated November 17, which was posted on Monday on the official Instagram accounts of Miss Grand India and Glamanand Supermodel India, the organization said that their decision stemmed from having different “visions and goals” from MGI.

“This step allows us to focus on exciting investments and projects that are already in motion and will soon be revealed to everyone,” said Nikhil Anand, president of Glamanand Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, in the statement.

“Loyalty remains a cornerstone of our values, and it has greatly influenced this decision. We remain committed to prioritizing trust, alignment, and long-term relationships as we move forward."

Despite this, the organization expressed its “immense pride” for Rachel Gupta, the reigning Miss Grand International 2024 and the first Indian to win the international title.

“Rachel, you will forever be our Queen, and your achievement marks a historic milestone for our country. We are proud to stand by you and will continue to support you throughout your reign,” it said.

"This marks the beginning of a new chapter, and we look forward to sharing more updates with you soon."

As of this writing, the MGI organization has yet to issue a response.

Meanwhile, Rachel expressed her utmost gratitude to the organization in the comment section and assured fans that this decision will not affect her reign as Miss Grand International 2024.

“Thank you for everything [Nikhil Anand]. We will continue to stand strong and support each other,” she wrote.

“To all the fans. Thank you for your concern. This decision will not affect my reign in any way. [Miss Grand International] is committed to having a wonderfully productive year full of activities and surprises for all of you have supported me! I love you and hope you continue to support us!” she said in another comment.

In October, Rachel was crowned Miss Grand International 2024 during the pageant’s coronation night in Bangkok, Thailand. Philippine bet CJ Opiaza finished as first runner-up.
