SB19, BINI, BGYO win at Brazil's BreakTudo Awards 2024
It’s P-pop domination at the BreakTudo Awards 2024 in Brazil as SB19, BINI, and BGYO have emerged victorious!
The P-Pop Kings bagged the Best International Male Group award, besting seven other boy bands, such as 5 Seconds of Summer, Stray Kids, Seventeen, TXT, BE:FIRST, Big Time Rush, and RIIZE.
Meanwhile, the Nation’s Girl Group brought home two awards: International Breakthrough Artist and International Video of the Year for its song “Cherry On Top.”
P-pop group BGYO also won the Song by New International Artist award for its song “Patintero.”
SB19 dropped its latest single “Kalakal” featuring Gloc-9 in August. Their documentary film “Pagtatag!” held a limited screening in Philippine cinemas in the same month; it also screened in Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore.
SB19 also attended Billboard Korea’s Billboard K Power 100 event in August where they performed “GENTO” and were among the recipients of the Voices of Asia award alongside BINI.
Previously, BINI bagged the “Best Asia Act” award at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards, making them the first Filipino group to win the said recognition.
BINI, composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena are fresh from their three-day sold-out concert over the weekend.
Meanwhile, BGYO comprises Gelo, JL, Akira, Mikki, and Nate. In August, the group released its new single, "Trash."
