Chelsea Manalo advocates for children of OFWs in Miss Universe 2024's Voice for Change competition
Chelsea Manalo is ready to walk the Miss Universe 2024 stage with a vision!
On social media, Miss Universe Philippines asked for support for the Filipina beauty queen after the online voting for the Voice for Change award started on Sunday.
Chelsea's advocacy focuses on the children of Filipino migrant workers and the challenges they face as their parents strive for better lives.
"A vote for Chelsea Manalo is a vote for the children and families of Filipino migrant workers! We're currently in the 12th spot but together we can help our queen reach the no. 1 spot with our spirit of Bayanihan!" the MUPH organization said.
Fans may show support for Chelsea by casting their votes on the Voice For Change website. Each fan can give a minimum of three votes that costs around P150. ($2.49).
In last year's Miss Universe pageant, Sparkle beauty queen Michelle Dee won the Voice for Change Award for her autism awareness advocacy.
Chelsea is vying for the country's fifth Miss Universe title on the pageant's coronation night on November 16 (November 17, Philippine time). The preliminaries and national costume competitions are set for November 14.
