Angelica Lopez is a modern Filipina in red for Miss International activity in Japan

The activities for the Miss International 2024 pageant in Japan have begun, and Philippine bet Angelica Lopez is keeping her fellow Pinoys in the loop.

On Instagram, the Filipina beauty queen shared her first look in Japan, where she donned a custom red Filipiniana by Daniel Manila as a "vibrant tribute" to the Philippines's "rich culture and unwavering pride."

She completed her outfit with a sleek updo hairstyle, gold floral earrings, and a pair of nude open-toe stilettos.

Angelica flew to Japan on Tuesday to compete for the upcoming Miss International pageant. She will vie for the country's seventh crown.

For her departure look, she wore her Philippine sash over a white button-down long-sleeved shirt and a statement red skirt with a big bow design.

The Miss International Pageant is set for November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall.
