In 'Heart World' debut episode, Heart Evangelista looks back on meeting Song Hye Kyo in Paris

Heart Evangelista could not help but gush over South Korean actress Song Hye Kyo, whom she met at the Paris Fashion Week in 2022.

On the debut episode of her reality TV show "Heart World" on Saturday, the Global Fashion Icon talked about her fashion week moments, including the time when she met "The Glory" star in a gala for a French luxury jewelry brand.

"Sobrang ganda niya!" Heart said.

According to the Sparkle star, before she played Song Hye Kyo's role in the Philippine adaptation of "Full House" in 2009, she had already been a fan of the actress. 

"Gustong-gusto ko na talaga siya kasi pinapanood ko 'yung 'Full House.' Tapos ang cute-cute niya," she shared. 

"Kung ano 'yung hitsura niya noong bata siya, 'yun pa rin ang hitsura niya hanggang ngayon. And she's very sweet," Heart added.

Song Hye Kyo starred as the optimistic and cheerful girl named Han Ji Eun in the 2004 series, which Heart played in the Philippine adaptation. Meanwhile, South Korean actor Rain played her love interest, a role that Richard Gutierrez took over in the adaptation.

Heart is a mainstay in fashion weeks. She was previously named top celebrity at the Paris Fashion Week, delivering a whopping $10.6M in media impact value (MIV) after appearing at high-profile shows including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Balmain, Elie Saab, Schiaparelli, and more.

She was also recognized as among the Top 10 influencers of Paris Fashion Week by influencer marketing platform Lefty.

In March, Launchmetrics said Heart ranked 3rd with $3.6M in MIV at the Milan Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2024.

"Heart World" airs on GMA Network on Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. after "Magpakailanman."
