Residents in Quezon Province affected by Kristine receive relief goods from GMA Kapuso Foundation

Residents in Quezon Province who were affected by the onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine received relief goods from GMA Kapuso Foundation through its Operation Bayanihan project.

According to Mel Tiangco's report on "24 Oras" Thursday, the relief goods were distributed to those located in Brgy. Madulaw in Catanauan and evacuees in Brgy. Canda Ilaya in Lopez, Quezon Province.

GMA Kapuso Foundation has also deployed a team to the Bicol Region to distribute more aid, although travel has become challenging due to the flooding caused by Kristine. Per the report, the foundation's team got stranded in Sipocot, Camarines Sur.

On Friday, more teams are set to travel to the provinces of Isabela, Cagayan, and Batangas to deliver relief goods to those affected by Kristine.

Those who wish to lend a helping hand may donate via Metrobank, Land Bank, Banco De Oro, Bank of Commerce, Philippine National Bank, UnionBank, and Cebuana Lhuillier. Donations may also be sent through GCash, Shopee, Lazada, Globe Rewards, and Metrobank credit card. Visit the GMA Kapuso Foundation's website for more information.

Several malls and establishments have also offered free overnight parking, Wi-Fi, restroom use, and phone charging stations to those who may need assistance amid Kristine.
