'Bar Boys: A New Musical' is extending until November 10

"Bar Boys: A New Musical" is getting an extension!

According to the Barefoot Theatre Collaborative, the musical will be having six more shows on November 7, 8, 9, and 10 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater, Circuit Makati.

Tickets to the additional shows are now available, priced at P2,799 for Gold and P2,999 for VIP.

The theater company also announced Thursday that the shows of "Bar Boys: A New Musical" on October 24 to 27 are pushing through.

The musical returned in October for a limited run that was set to end on November 3.

Early this week, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative announced that all of the musical's shows until November 3 were sold out.

"Bar Boys: A New Musical" is an adaptation of filmmaker Kip Oebanda's 2017 comedy-drama film of the same name. It is about the life of four friends and their journey to becoming lawyers in the Philippines.

Book and lyrics are by Pat Valera, who is also co-director alongside Mikko Angeles. Myke Salomon, who composed the adaptation's original songs, is musical director, while Jomelle Era is movement director.  

"Bar Boys: A New Musical" was first staged in May 2024.
