Is jail time an appropriate penalty for spreading chismis? Euwenn Mikaell answers as Mayor Rambo Agapito

Euwenn Mikaell is wearing the hat of a politician in his upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series "Forever Young."

His character in the show is named Rambo Agapito, a 25-year-old man stuck in the body of a 10-year-old due to a condition called hypopituitarism which causes deficiency of the growth hormone. He will eventually become a mayor of a small town.

On Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," Mayor Rambo got quizzed about his thoughts on a few policies, such as jail time for those spreading gossip.

"Talagang kailangan, pero parang mga four hours lang," he said, drawing laughs from the audience. "Kasi nga parang hindi naman ganun kabigat 'yung crime."

Rambo also lectured the public about the bad side of gossipmongering.

"Dapat kasi ang mga tao mind your own business. Kaya minsan may nagagalit sa inyo, kaya sila nagagalit dahil chinichismis n'yo sila," he added.

Previously, Euwenn also shared his advice to Filipino voters on the qualities they should be looking for from the leaders they want to elect into office.

The 11-year-old child actor has been praised as mature by his co-stars. He is known for his roles in the films "Firefly" and "Lolo and the Kid."

"Forever Young" is directed by Gil Tejada Jr. Aside from Euwenn, its cast includes Eula Valdez, Michael De Mesa, Nadine Samonte, Alfred Vargas, Althea Ablan, Princes Aliyah, James Blanco, Matt Lozano, Abdul Rahman, Bryce Eusebio, and more.

The series will premiere on Monday at 4:00 p.m. after "Shining Inheritance."
