Miss International announces new format for 2024 pageant

Miss International announced a new format for its upcoming competition.

According to the announcement posted on Wednesday, all 2024 candidates will be appear in National Costume on coronation night.

The first cut will include 20 candidates who are going to be chosen based on their preliminary evaluation, on the evening gown pre-judging, and the people's choice voting.

They will then compete in the swimsuit round to determine the eight ladies who will make it to the next cut.

The Top 8 will take on the question and answer portion and walk in the evening gown competition to determine the new Miss International queen and the four runners-up.

The Philippines will be represented by Angelica Lopez, who won the Binibining Pilipinas International crown in May 2023.

In her Beauties for SDGs video, Angelica advocated for the less fortunate children.

The Miss International 2024 pageant is happening on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall.
