JL of P-pop group PLUUS joins K-pop show 'Universe League'

JL of PLUUS will raise the Philippine flag in K-pop global audition show "Universe League."

According to the concept trailer for the SBS reality show released on Monday, 42 idols from various countries will compete against each other for the chance to debut.

They will be divided into three teams: Red for Rhythm, Green for Groove, and Blue for Beat. The winner will take the Prism Cup and get the chance to go on a new journey in their careers.

"Universe League," which will premiere on November 22, has also released the first profile photos of the contestants. JL looked dapper in a white varsity jacket with dark blue stripes. 

PLUUS is a six-member P-Pop group which debuted in 2023. Aside from JL, its members are Theo, Gab, Justin, Yen, and Haro.

Among the group's songs are "Summotion," "Amigo," "Shining Star," and "Missing You."
