'Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience' stars to attend film's screening in Japan this weekend
The stars of "Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience" are heading to Japan to attend the first screening of the film's dubbed version this weekend!
According to Director Mark Reyes, he will be joined by Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Martin Del Rosario, and Gabby Eigenmann in Japan.
"We would love to meet you Japan-based #voltesvlegacy Pinoy fans this coming weekend," he said.
Direk Mark previously went on a press tour to promote the film's Japan release, which TOEI Company officially announced back in June.
The film's Japanese dub version, called "Super Electromagnetic Edition," stars Chiaki Kobayashi, Kido Hanakura, Makoto Koichi, Yamato Kinjo, Megumi Nakajima, Junichi Suwabe, and more as the voice cast.
"Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience" was first released in Philippine cinemas last year, before the series aired on television.
For the Japanese release, the film has been re-edited and some scenes not included in the Philippine version have also been added. The CGI has also been been improved through a remastering process.
Aside from the film, the "Voltes V: Legacy" series is also heading to Japanese television screens.
"Voltes V: Legacy" first aired on GMA Prime in May 2023. It enjoyed a re-run on GMA Afternoon Prime in May this year.
