CJ Opiaza impresses Miss Grand International president for her ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ performance

Miss Grand International 2024’s Grand Voice is on!

For the first round on Wednesday, Philippine bet CJ Opiaza sang Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon."

“Most of Filipino people can sing very great,” Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil said after CJ’s performance.

CJ agreed, saying she hopes that she’s not a disappointment because of her song number.

“Perfect, perfect! Not [a disappointment]. Believe me,” Itsaragrisil said.

Miss Grand International is holding its preliminary activities in Thailand.

The national costume competition will take place on October 20, followed by the preliminary competition and the Grand Voice Award final round on October 22.

The Miss Grand International coronation night will be held on October 25.

CJ was crowned Miss Grand Philippines 2024 in late September.

Prior to being Miss Grand Philippines 2024, CJ was the first runner-up in Miss Universe Philippines 2023.
