PH bet Dom Corilla is Mister Global 2024

Daumier "Dom" Corilla was hailed as the Mister Global 2024, becoming the first-ever titleholder from the Philippines.

The 29-year-old actor and model bested other 31 candidates during the pageant's coronation night held in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday.

During the national costume competition, Dom wore a gold ensemble inspired by the Filipino God of War and the Sun Apolaki.

Manuel Romo of Spain was named first runner-up while Favour Ogbuokiri of Nigeria was second-runner up. Thailand's Patrick Pho-ngam Forstner and Brazil's Luiz Henrique Mascarenhas, were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Aside from being a model and an actor, Dom also holds a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Administration from Santa Monica College in California.

He is also an advocate of environmental conservation and animal welfare.
