60,000 students receive school supplies from GMA Kapuso Foundation

Sixty thousand students from 25 provinces in the country received school supplies from GMA Kapuso Foundation.

According to “24 Oras,” Wednesday, this was made possible through the foundation's Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan Project.

“We’re grateful for this opportunity kasi maraming bata [ang] natutulungan. Malaking impact siya sa pamilya at sa community,” said SDO Misamis Occ. Social Mobilization and Networking Education Programs Specialist II Fernan Diego Lanzaderas.

Among the far-flung areas GMA Kapuso Foundation visited for the initiative are the remote municipality Datu Blah Sinsuat in Maguindanao, the island of Siasi in Sulu, and the municipality of Sitangkai in Tawi-Tawi.
