Victoria Velasquez Vincent is Miss Universe New Zealand 2024

Victoria Velasquez Vincent, who previously represented Bacoor City in this year's Miss Universe Philippines pageant, has been hailed as Miss Universe New Zealand 2024!

Victoria bested 15 other contestants and will represent the country in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico on November 14.

Previously, she said that she would join the Miss Universe New Zealand 2024 pageant to honor her dad's heritage.

Victoria was offered to to become Miss Universe New Zealand in 2021, but she declined the title. She joined the Miss Universe Philippines pageant in the same year and was named Miss Universe Philippines Charity.

This year, she joined the Miss Universe Philippines again and finished in the Top 10. Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan won the title and will meet Victoria in Mexico for the international pageant.

Filipino-Kiwi model and actress Franki Russell was supposed to represent New Zealand in the Miss Universe 2024, but she said she was dethroned due to an issue over her previous films.
