6 PH hotels listed in Michelin Guide 2024 recommendations

Six hotels in the Philippines have made it to the Michelin Guide 2024 recommendations!

In Metro Manila, Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery, The Peninsula Manila, and Hotel Okura Manila landed on the list.

Meanwhile, Amanpulo in Palawan, Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan in Cebu, and Nay Palad in Siargao also earned spots.

Created in 1900 by tire manufacturers Andre and Edouard Michelin initially as a guide for motorists, the Michelin Guide has now expanded to hotel and restaurant recommendations across the globe.

The first hotel recommendations by Michelin Guide were published in 1920, including establishments in Europe and Asia.

Among the standards of the Michelin Guide for hotels include excellence in "design, architecture, service and personality."
