Is M2M teasing a comeback with this 'The Day You Went Away' video?
Is it 2000 all over again?
M2M, the Norwegian pop duo of Marit Larsen and Marion Raven, surprised their fans with a video of them singing "The Day You Went Away" on Instagram.
They sang the chorus and second verse of the song from their debut album "Shades of Purple," which included the line, "I remember - date and time, September twenty-second, Sunday, twenty-five after nine."
Incidentally, the video was posted on Sunday, September 22, at 9:25 am, Oslo time.
"Let’s give this story a better ending," they wrote in the caption.
Their fans got nostalgic and excited in the comments, with some thinking that M2M may be hinting at a comeback.
Marit and Marion's reunion came 22 years after they broke up as a duo in 2002 to pursue solo careers.
Among M2M's popular songs include "Pretty Boy," "Mirror Mirror," "Don't Say You Love Me," and "Everything You Do."
