Zeinab Harake and Maxie Andreison perform in drag

Zeinab Harake performed with Maxie Andreison of “Drag Race Philippines” Season 3, and they both slayed!

In a YouTube vlog, Zeinab  said that she wanted to collaborate with the drag artist because their fans would point out their resemblance, and she agreed that they do look alike.

The content creator shared the process leading up to their performance, including rehearsals for their lipsync, outfit fittings, makeup, and Maxie putting on and styling Zeinab’s wig.

Zeinab also shared a conversation with Maxie after their rehearsals. Maxie showcased her singing skills, they talked about their resemblance, and Zeinab said that she supports the LGBTQIA+ community.

While getting ready, Zeinab said, “Grabe, pag-pe-prepare palang, five hours. Grabe, saludo sa lahat ng nag-da-drag queen diyan. Iba ‘yung hirap.”

“Mahirap siya, hindi siya biro,” she added while a team helped put on her outfit.

Maxie and Zeinab’s final look comprises a beaded silver bodysuit with an open skirt, black, white, and silver makeup, and a platinum blonde wig.

“Ganito pala ‘yung buhay niyo, ang saya,” Zeinab told Maxie. “Masaya siya pero masakit.”

“Tiis ganda ka talaga ‘day,” Maxie said.

Zeinab added, “Sana po bigyan niyo ng increase ‘yung mga drag queen. Ang sakit po ng ginagawa nila.”

Before their performance, Zeinab already thanked Maxie. “Ngayon palang, thank you... Walang echos. Pinagbigyan mo ko na maramdaman, maranasan ‘yung work mo. Maraming salamat.”

She added, “Hindi siya biro guys ah. Kaya taasan niyo talaga ‘yung mga TF nila dahil ang sakit talaga.”

Maxie told her, “Sobrang happy ko rin na binigyan mo ko ng chance to collab with you.”

During their performance, Maxie appeared first, with Zeinab making a surprise appearance. As seen in fan videos, the duo lipsynced to “S&M” by Rihanna.

After the song, Zeinab gave in to fans’ requests to do the “Alarma” where she is lifted into the air.

Zeinab was also able to meet Maxie’s sister and fellow “Drag Race Philippines” Season 3 contestant, Angel.

“Big shoutout sa mga drag queens. Saludo po sa inyo sa pagbibigay ng saya sa mga tao, and sana po, humaba pa ang ating mga buhay, i-bless pa tayo ni Lord, at sana magtuloy-tuloy ang kasiyahan sa mundong ito,” Zeinab said before ending the vlog.

She added that it was so fun to perform as a drag queen and entertain people in an unfiltered way. She also told her subscribers to support Maxie and follow her social media accounts.

“Thank you so much Zeinab for this opportunity. Maraming, maraming salamat sa pagsama sa ‘kin sa video, sa vlog,” Maxie said.

“Matagal-tagal ko nang hinihiling ‘to na sana makapag-vlog tayo together, mapansin mo ‘ko kasi alam ko na marami rin nag-ti-TikTok at marami nagko-comment na magkamukha tayong dalawa pero napagbigyan ako now, at napaka swerte ko,” the artist added, and revealed that Zeinab was the one who approached her.

"Drag Race Philippines" Season 3 streams exclusively on HBO Go and Wow Presents Plus in the Philippines.

The 11 queens this season are: Angel, John Fedellaga, JQuinn, Khianna, Maxie, Myx Chanel, Popstar Bench, Tita Baby, Versex, Yudipota, and Zymba Ding. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
