'Cells At Work!' live action trailer introduces bacteria, virus, other immune cells
The trailer for the live action film of "Cells At Work! is now here!
Starring Takeru Satoh and Mei Nagano as White Blood Cell and Red Blood Cell, respectively, the film will also feature other immune cells like Macrophage, Killer T-Cell, NK Cell.
In the trailer, they are shown fighting bacteria and virus-infected cells.
The cells are inside the bodies of a healthy human being and another with unhealthy lifestyle habits, which was the topic of the "Cells At Work!" spinoff "Code Black."
Directed by Hideki Takeuchi, the film will premiere in Japan on December 13.
"Cells At Work!" is based on a manga series of the same name by Akane Shimizu. It explores the world inside the human body, with anthropomorphized cells as the characters.
It was first adapted into an anime in 2018 and a second season followed in 2021. "Cells At Work! Code Black," which has a darker story, was also adapted into anime.
