Ahtisa Manalo is a trailblazing queen in her introduction video for Miss Cosmo 2024!
On Instagram, the Miss Cosmo organization dropped Athisa’s introduction video, which featured her life story as a beauty queen.
“I’m very excited to be back once again in Vietnam for the Miss Cosmo competition. At the Miss Cosmo 2024 is the fact that I chose to be here. Not a lot of people know, but I had the opportunity to represent the Philippines in another pageant," she said.
According to Ahtisa, she chose to be part of Miss Cosmo instead because she wants to be a trailblazer.
"I want to set the tone of what it takes to be a Miss Cosmo and I want to be an integral part of a pioneering organization that will change the history of pageantry forever," she added.
In the video, Ahtisa also narrated her humble beginnings and how she started to join beauty pageants at the age of 10 years old so she can achieve her dreams.
"I made pageantry my vessel for greater things and greater opportunities. Now I have lived a lot of my dreams and I'm continuing to design my life the way I want to live it," she said.
Ahtisa was crowned Miss Cosmo Philippines 2024 in May.
The Filipina beauty queen flew to Vietnam last week to represent the country on the international stage. While in Vietnam, she and her fellow candidates went on an incredible journey in Ninh Binh Province.
Ahtisa also bonded with Filipina-Kiwi actress-beauty queen Franki Russell, who is representing New Zealand in the pageant and also happens to be her roommate.
During the pageant’s preliminary activities, the Quezon Province native won the “First Station” of Miss Cosmo’s People’s Choice Award.
The Miss Cosmo 2024, which is currently being held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, kicked off on September 15 with a sashing ceremony and runs until October 5. It is the inaugural competition of the Miss Cosmo pageant.
Ahtisa also previously represented the country during Miss International in 2018, where she was named 1st Runner-Up.
