Miss International announces 2024 pageant dates, venue

The Miss International organization has released the dates and venue for this year's competition!  

The coronation night of the 62nd Miss International is set to be held on November 12 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

According to Miss International on social media, the swimsuit competition, the national costume and evening gown parade, and the final question and answer portion will also be held on coronation night.

This year's main theme is "Sustainability in Pageantry," which is in concordance with the pageant's post-pandemic advocacy "Beauties for SDGs" that began in 2022.

"The 62nd edition of Miss International promises to underline the traditional aspects of beauty pageant through a healthy and friendly competition, while also develop genuine sisterhood among the delegates, promote international and cultural understanding, and spread awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals," the Miss International organization said.

Over 70 delegates from all the over world will participate at Miss International 2024 and are expected to arrive in Japan on October 29.

Other highlights to watch for at Miss International 2024 include the National Costume Show on November 3 and the Preliminary Evaluation on November 10.

The two events will take place at the Professional University of Beauty and Wellness in Yokohama City.

Binibining Pilipinas International 2023 Angelica Lopez of Palawan will represent the country at Miss International 2024.

Angelica's main advocacy is education for underprivileged children.

Nicole Borromeo of Cebu finished as third runner-up at Miss International 2023, while Andrea Rubio of Venezuela was crowned Miss International 2023.
