GMA Integrated News reporter JP Soriano selected for International Visitor Leadership Program in US

GMA Integrated News reporter JP Soriano was among those chosen to participate at the upcoming International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a premier professional exchange program of the U.S. Department of State.

Soriano will join 22 other journalists and media professionals from over 12 countries for the Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists: New and Traditional Broadcast Media.

It will commence on September 7 and conclude on September 28.

The participants will also be visiting various U.S. cities and engaging with counterparts in media and journalism.

In 2018, Soriano's documentary "Recto" bagged the Best Documentary award at the inaugural ASEANale Film and Multimedia Competition.

The following year, Soriano won the Gold Award for Best in Reporting at the first-ever Labor Media Awards.
