Raheel Bhyria wins first amateur boxing fight via KO

Raheel Bhyria won his first-ever amateur boxing fight!

According to Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the Sparkle actor's bout was held over the weekend.

Raheel bagged the victory after scoring a knock out during the third round.

"Hindi ko po talaga ma-explain nung nanalo ako, binuhat ako ng coach ko, tas sigaw lang ako," Raheel said.

During the fight, several Sparkle stars came to support Raheel: Sean Lucas, Anjay Anson, Vince Maristela, Cheska Fausto, Kirsten Gonzales, and Hannah Arguelles.

"Thank you sa mga pumunta para suportahan ako, kung wala kayo, I wouldn't be able to win," Raheel said on Instagram.

Before his fight, Raheel underwent training from veteran actor Ronnie Ricketts for his action routines in the upcoming series "Mga Batang Riles."

"Even if matagal na akong nagbo-boxing, ang dami ko pong natutunan kay Sir Ronnie lalo na sa defense ko na na-apply ko po dito sa laban," he said.

"Mga Batang Riles" also stars Miguel Tanfelix, Kokoy De Santos, Bruce Roeland, and Antonio Vinzon. The cast previously underwent an acting workshop with veteran actress and director Laurice Guillen.
