Documentary on SAF 44 is coming to Netflix this September

A documentary on the 44 members of the Special Action Force (SAF) who perished in the 2015 Mamasapano clash is set to premiere on Netflix this September.

Titled "Fallen not Forgotten: The Untold Story of the Gallant SAF 44," it tells the story of Oplan Exodus, the mission carried out by the SAF members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) who hunted and killed Malaysian terrorist Zulkifli bin Abdul, alsk known as Marwan.

It is directed by Adrian Belic and Sally Jo Bellosillo.

The documentary will also feature the 13 SAF survivors who will recount the stories of brotherhood, comradeship, patriotism during the Mamasapano clash.

Aside from the SAF troops, it will also contain exclusive interviews with Nasir Abbas, the man who trained Marwan, and President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., who was a senator during the incident.

The documentary is set to drop on September 6.
