Largest passenger aircraft spotted in the Philippines

The world’s largest passenger aircraft was recently spotted in the Philippines by a plane spotter named Lance Fernandez.

In Kuya Kim’s report on “24 Oras Weekend,” Saturday, Lance said that the Airbus A380 rarely passes by the country.

“Hindi po sila naga-accommodate ng passenger flight dito sa Philippines. For maintenance lamang po,” he said.

According to Kuya Kim, the A380 is 72.7 meters long, 24.1 meters in height, and has a 79.8-meter wingspan.

It has two floors, which can accommodate 555 passengers in a three-class configuration.

But if it were an economy-configuration aircraft, it could seat 850 passengers. —Carby Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
