2-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo receives P32M worth condo

Two-time Olympic medalist and gymnast Carlos Yulo on Wednesday received his condominium unit worth P32 million from listed property developer Megaworld Corp.

Yulo was first rewarded with a two-bedroom condominium unit after he won the gold medal in the Paris Olympics in the floor exercise. Megaworld up-sized their gift to a three-bedroom unit worth P32M, when the 24-year-old Olympian scored his second gold in the vault finals.

The 100-square meter condo unit comes fully-furnished, interior-designed, with home appliances. It also has two balconies, its own parking slot, and a maid's room with toilet and bath.

In photos shared by Megaworld on social media, Yulo's unit is also decorated with framed newspaper front pages of his incredible Olympic run.

Yulo will also receive P3 million from Megaworld for becoming the first Filipino athlete to win two Olympic gold medals.

Along with the rest of the Philippine Olympic Team, Yulo arrived back home on Wednesday aboard a chartered Philippine Airlines flight that landed at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.

Bronze medalists Aira Villegas and Nesthy Petecio, fellow boxers Carlo Paalam, Hergie Bacyadan, and Eumir Marcial, tracksters John Cabang Tolentino and Lauren Hoffman, weightlifter John Ceniza, Elreen Ando, and Vanessa Sarno, and pole vault star EJ Obiena were also on the flight.
