Rosé of Blackpink on group's 8th anniversary: 'Blackpink forever'
Blackpink member Rosé penned a heartfelt message as the group celebrated their eighth anniversary.
On Instagram, the K-pop singer shared a group mirror selfie with her members. She also posted some old photos of her and the girls.
"Happy 8 years [Blackpink]," she began.
"Thank you girlies for being my best sisters throughout all of this. I'm so so proud of us. Love you all tremendously. I can't wait to live laugh and grow with you all. Lysm," Rosé added.
Ending her post, she thanked her beloved Blinks for "loving and supporting Blackpink for the past 8 full years."
"We are so grateful for every single one of you. Love you so so much blinks. Blackpink for ever, Blackpink in your area," she ended.
Blackpink celebrated their eighth anniversary on August 8 and surprised their fans with a live video.
During the live, the girls wore birthday hats as they sang "Happy Birthday" in Korean and blew their cakes.
Blackpink debuted in 2016 with the hit song "Whistle." They are best known for their hit songs "Boombayah" and "How You Like That," among others.
Last year, the group headlined Coachella and had a two-night concert at the Philippine Arena.
In December, all Blackpink members renewed their contract for group activities with YG Entertainment.
However, Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo's solo activities will be managed under their own labels. Jennie with Odd Atelier, Lisa under Lloud, and Jisoo with Blissoo.
Meanwhile, Rosé's solo activities will be managed by The Black Label.
