Moonstar88 offers free wedding performance for Carlos Yulo after historic Olympic wins

Moonstar88 has something in store for our Olympic champ Carlos Yulo after his historic wins at the 2024 Paris Olympics!

On social media, the OPM band announced that they will be offering a free wedding performance for Carlos.

“2 Golds!!! Dahil di ka nahihilo, nalilito sa routine mo,” the band wrote, referencing the lyrics of their song “Migraine.”

Carlos gave the Philippines its second Olympic gold medal following weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz’s victory in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

But the 24-year-old gymnast did not just give the Philippines one, but two gold medals in this year’s games after topping the men’s floor exercise and vault finals over the weekend.

With his double gold victory, Carlos is expected to receive cash incentives and a house and lot from the government and other private institutions. Various companies have also pledged incentives to the gymnastics sensation.

The City of Manila where Carlos grew up is also preparing a hero’s welcome for the Olympian.

Moonstar88 is a rock band that was formed in 1999. Aside from “Migraine,” the band is also known for its hit songs “Torete,” "Sulat," and “Panalangin.”
