Juliana Gomez proud to be a UP graduate: 'Isang karangalan ang maging Iskolar-Atleta ng Bayan'

Juliana Gomez just graduated cum laude after pursuing a degree in public administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

On Instagram, the daughter of celebrity couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres expressed her gratitude to UP.

"Isang karangalan ang maging Iskolar-Atleta ng Bayan," Juliana said in the caption.

"Maraming salamat sa pagkakataon na ito, UP!" she added. "Mahal na mahal kita."

In the photos, Julianna donned a traditional Terno with her UP Sablay and medal.

Earlier, proud dad Richard congratulated his daughter on graduating with flying colors.

"Mom was in tears going up the stage. My eyes were in tears too when I went back to my seat as things sank into my head and realized how time flies so fast," he said.

"Go on and make things better and beautiful," he added.

Juliana is also a successful fencing athlete, and Richard often expresses his pride for her. In March, she won a gold medal at the UAAP.

She previously won fencing competitions in Thailand and Indonesia.
