GMA Gala 2024 proceeds to be donated to Typhoon Carina victims
All of the proceeds and donations from GMA Gala 2024 will be used to help those affected by Typhoon Carina.
According to the "Today’s Talk" segment of Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the aid will be delivered through GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Operation Bayanihan.
Among the stars who are lending their helping hands in the ongoing repacking of relief goods at the warehouse in Tandang Sora, Quezon City, are Faith Da Silva, Jason Gainza, Ronnie Liang, Angel Leighton, Kirst Viray, Kim Perez, and Elijah Alejo.
Ashley Ortega, Shuvee Entrata, and Rocco Nacino were also part of the team earlier.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council recorded that over 1.1 million individuals all over the country were affected by the typhoon, as of Thursday morning.

Some aid and relief were already distributed to 1,000 residents in Taytay, Rizal on Thursday morning, joined by “Unang Hirit” hosts Shaira Diaz and Suzie Entrata-Abrera.
