Krishnah Gravidez is still over the moon following her Miss World Philippines win.
In a two-part appreciation post on Instagram, the newly crowned queen reflected on her win and thanked everybody who has been there for her.
“When you take exceptional steps, you don't only empower yourself; the whole world believes in you. Even if the steps are so high that they make you shudder, starting over again and facing a blurry end, the very first time you say YES to a challenge is already a win. Henceforth, flourish, and DO IT because life is full of wonderful surprises. You have to try before you'll ever know,” she said.
“Pilipinas, taos puso po akong nag papasalamat,” she added.
The beauty queen first thanked the Miss World Philippines and Miss World organizations. She also thanked its managers for making the pageant possible.
“[You] have shifted the course of my life and every woman who has joined your platform will also agree. We are grateful that you have given us the best opportunity to elevate the causes we're passionate about and pushing us further to believe in the beauty of our purpose,” she said, adding that she is thrilled to be part of the group and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Krishnah also thanked her pageant batchmates.
“I am one of the lucky ones to have spent 6 weeks being surrounded by 32 empowered Filipinas! I am beyond proud of you, queens,” she said.
Krishnah then thanked her whole team for their efforts and support. She also expressed her gratitude to her family, friends, and loved ones and called them her “backbone.”
“Thank you for raising me with love, respect, kindness, and compassion. These are the fundamental values you instilled in me which guided me in all aspects of my life,” she said.
She added, “Baguio City, we made it!”
Krishnah was crowned Miss World Philippines on July 19.
She also took home the Best in Evening Gown, Best in Swimsuit, Miss Oro China, Miss Skin by Cathy Valencia, Miss Photogenic, Miss Hello Glow, Miss Procap, and Miss Dr. Leo awards. She likewise won the Miss Multimedia and Top Model fast-track competitions.
