Grace Poe wears silk crepe dress for Senate opening session ahead of SONA 2024

Senator Grace Poe arrived at the Third Regular Session of the 19th Congress on Monday in a white silk crepe dress by Paul Cabral.

The dress has a piña fabric combination on top, and vintage lace details.

Senate President Chiz Escudero and his wife Heart Evangelista were the first to walk on the red carpet of the opening session.

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. is set to deliver his third State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday afternoon.

Some of the current pressing issues include the rising conflict in the West Philippine Sea against global superpower China, which has prompted Manila to lodge diplomatic protests against Beijing, and officials from both countries to hold a bilateral meeting to manage the ongoing disputes in the region.
