Winwyn Marquez shares her advice for Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2024 Dia Maté

Winwyn Marquez is feeling excited for the newly crowned Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, Dia Maté.

In an interview with GMA News Online during the GMA Gala 2024, the Kapuso actress said that she met Dia during Miss World Philippines's Head-to-Head Challenge.

"She approached me, and she told me she watched my competition," Winwyn said.

"I think ang advice ko lang sa kaniya is really have fun and 'wag siyang ma-insecure with all the Latinas around her," she said.

Winwyn continued, "She should just know who she is, and then eventually, she'll just shine na lang on stage. Pero I'm so excited for her."

Dia represented Cavite during Miss World Philippines 2024 and won the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas crown.

Prior to this, she was also a Miss Universe Philippines candidate. Her boyfriend, Juan Karlos, asked his fans to support her during the competition.

Meanwhile, Winwyn won the first Reina Hispanoamericana crown for the Philippines in 2017.
