Chiz Escudero to join Heart Evangelista at GMA Gala 2024

Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero on Friday confirmed that he will be joining his wife, fashion icon and actress Heart Evangelista at the GMA Gala.

“May choice ba ako baka iba pa isama ng asawa ko dun. Mas maganda nang ako, hindi ba?” Escudero said in jest when asked if he will attend the event.

He, however, did not disclose what he will be wearing at the occasion.

“Huwag mo akong tatanungin kung anong isusuot ko dahil sa totoo lang hindi ko alam at wala akong pakialam. Ang lalaki naman kasi Amerikana lang naman ‘di ba. Hindi naman komplikado ‘yon,” Escudero said.

Now in its third year, the GMA Gala will be happening on July 20, Saturday. The star-studded GMA Gala was first launched in July 2022 to celebrate GMA Network's 72nd anniversary and to serve as a fundraising event for the benefit of the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

A livestream of the red carpet will be available on GMA Network's Facebook and on Sparkle's Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube at 5:00 p.m.
