Shamcey Supsup gets real about wearing heels: 'Sumasakit din ang mga paa naming beauty queens'

Shamcey Supsup just shared the reality of beauty queens wearing a pair of heels for an extended period.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe Philippines 2011 shared a clip taken during the coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas 2024 last Sunday.

In the video, Shamcey could be seen sitting on the edge of the stage to rest her feet.

"'Yung ang ganda ng suot mo sa event, pero sadyang sumakit ang paa mo dahil sa suot mong heels," the beauty queen captioned.

"Yes, sumasakit din po ang mga paa naming beauty queens," she added.

In the comments section, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo said she could relate to Shamcey.

"We feel you, Madam!" Rabiya commented.

Shamcey was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe and competed at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Brazil, where she finished as the third runner-up.

Following her pageant stint, Shamcey was appointed as the national director of Miss Universe Philippines after the franchise in the country was officially granted to a new organizing body.
