MJ Lastimosa stuns in a glow-up version of her iconic NatCos at Binibining Pilipinas 2024

As one of the hosts of the recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2024 coronation night, MJ Lastimosa didn't waste any chance to pay homage to her iconic national costume in Miss Universe 2014.

On Instagram, Filipina fashion designer Bonita Penaranda shared MJ's look for the night, which is a structural corset top with flower accents similar to the hues of her national costume and paired it with a white figure-hugging skirt.

 On Instagram Stories, MJ shared a sneak peek of her look, hinting at the reference taken from her national costume.

MJ's national costume was truly one for the books, and back then, many netizens compared her look to that of a birthday cake.

As of late, whenever a pageant and festival are happening in and out of the country, MJ's photo of her wearing her national costume resurfaces on the internet, which the beauty queen warmly welcomes by riding on the joke.

Myrna Esguerra of Abra was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International 2024 during Sunday's coronation night.
