The cast album of 'Mula Sa Buwan' is now available on Spotify
Hit original Filipino musical "Mula Sa Buwan" won't be having its rerun until August, but here's a treat for theater fans!
On Instagram, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative announced that its cast album featuring the live performance recording of "Mula Sa Buwan's" 2022 show is now available on Spotify!
The album comes as good news for fans, as many have been clamoring for an official cast recording of "Mula Sa Buwan." In an Instagram Reel, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative showed screenshots of netizens on X (formerly Twitter) practically begging for the cast recording.
The 18-track album features cast members Gab Pangilinan (Roxane), Myke Salomon (Cyrano), Markki Stroem (Christian), Phi Palmos (Rosanna), and more.
"Mula Sa Buwan" will return on stage from Aug. 16 to Sept. 8 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati.
The musical, created by Pat Valera and William Elvin Manzano, is based on French poet and dramatist Edmond Rostand's play "Cyrano de Bergerac" and the Filipino translation of Soc Rodrigo.
A tale of love and defiance, the musical is set in 1940s Manila and follows the story of Cyrano, a long-nosed soldier, his beloved Roxane, and the kind-hearted Christian.
Tickets to "Mula Sa Buwan" are now available on Ticketworld online and outlets nationwide.
