Binibining Pilipinas marks 60-year legacy with 'Beauty Ever After' book
Binibining Pilipinas is set to release a limited-edition coffee table book, "Beauty Ever After," in celebration of its 60-year legacy.
The Binibining Pilipinas organization teased on social media that the book is now available for pre-order on its website. The "Beauty Ever After" coffee table book is priced at P5,000.
The teaser video featured the crowning moments of past Binibini queens, from Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz to Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, among others.
The coffee table book traces the Binibining Pilipinas pageant's rich history of beauty, grace, and transformation over six decades, featuring photographs and inspiring stories that embody the spirit of the organization.
"From humble beginnings to international acclaim, this book tells the incredible stories of our queens—women who have not only won crowns but have also made significant impacts on their communities," Binibining Pilipinas said on its website. "Every page of this book is a tribute to the resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment of the Binibining Pilipinas organization."
The Binibining Pilipinas pageant first launched in 1964. Past winners of the pageant have gone on to represent the Philippines on the international beauty pageant stage, taking home crowns from Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Globe, Miss Supranational, and Miss Intercontinental.
The organization has produced the country's four Miss Universe queens: Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1973 Margie Moran, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
Its impressive roster also includes Miss International 1970 Aurora Pijuan, Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, Miss International 2005 Precious Lara Quigaman, Miss International 2013 Bea Santiago, Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, and many more.
On July 7, Binibining Pilipinas 2024 will be holding its coronation night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Tickets to the event are now available via TicketNet online and outlets nationwide.
In early June, the organization revealed the new crowns and bigger prizes for this year's winners.
Former Binibini queens Catriona, Kylie, MJ Lastimosa, and Nicole Cordoves, as well as Ruffa Gutierrez, will serve as hosts on the grand coronation night this Sunday. P-pop group SB19, Gary Valenciano, and Martin Nievera will also perform at the event.
