Celebrity couple Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes, as well as Dominic Roque have renewed their Christian faith as they received the sacrament of baptism.

On Instagram, Marco shared a clip from their water baptism on Sunday at Favor Church, a Christian church, along with a heartfelt and reflective message on his journey to Christianity.

“Today marks another milestone in my life. I publicly declared my faith in Jesus through the sacrament of baptism. A sacred moment of rebirth and renewal in Christ, immersed in faith and surrounded by love,” the actor began in the caption.

He said that this is his second baptism and went on to share some of the up and down moments he experienced in his more than 20 years of being a Christian.

“I’ve had moments in my life where I was on fire with my faith in Christ and I thought that the fire would never burn out,” Marco said, adding that there were also times that he would search for himself because he drifted away from Him,and “would find joy in worldly things” instead.

“Life here on earth is not perfect, and it will never be the way that we want it to be. But having Jesus at the center of our life changes everything. Life has more meaning, life has more purpose,” the 29 year-old actor said.

In his post, Marco also said after getting baptized for the second time that these “old ways” are now gone and the “new” has come. He also publicly declared his faith in Christ and vowed to put Him in the center of his life.

"I don’t know the plans or purpose He has for my future, but one thing is for sure, I will be ready for it and I will trust Him! Wherever God calls me, I will make sure that His name will forever be glorified through my life. From darkness into light, submerged in faith and covered by grace,” he added.

Ending his post, Marco congratulated his girlfriend Cristine and his close friend Dominic in their renewed Christian life.

“Congrats to us [Cristine], this a new step in our Christian life together and I wouldn’t want to have this with anyone else. I love you. To [Dominic], isa sa mga tunay kong kapatid, proud na proud ako sayo! Nandito ako palagi sa tabi mo, and I know God will bless your heart, and I am excited for what’s to come,” he ended.

Meanwhile, on her Instagram, Cristine also posted a reflective message on her Christian faith where she thanked God and told Marco how his “love” and constant support” brought her happiness.

“I know that God has always been in my heart. I’m not perfect, but I try my best to follow His will. I feel like now is the right time to share this belief with everyone. I really feel it in my soul, and even though I know there will be obstacles, I want to let Him guide my life because I know that His presence is the only certainty in this world,” the actress began.

“[Marco], your consistent love and constant support in good times and bad bring me happiness. I hope that God’s care and direction will accompany you always as you chase after your goals and ambitions. Your compassionate nature deserves fulfillment, and I am confident that your greatest wishes will be granted, with God’s favor. Amarah and I are rooting for you. I love you,” she added.

Dominic also reposted on his account Marco's Instagram Stories from the water baptism.
