'Do You Hear the People Sing?' concert returns to Manila this August

Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's "Do You Hear the People Sing?" is returning to Manila this August for a two-night show.

Alain and Claude-Michel are the multi-award-winning creators of the music and lyrics of the musicals "La Révolution Française," "Les Misérables," "Miss Saigon," "Martin Guerre," and "The Pirate Queen."

"Do You Hear the People Sing?" will be back in Manila with a two-night fundraising concert from Aug. 2 to 3 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. The concert, organized by Newport World Resorts and theater producer Enda Markey in partnership with Metrobank VISA, will be for the beneficiary communities of the Upskills+ Foundation.

"Do You Hear the People Sing?" is Alain and Claude-Michel's definitive celebration of their decades-long collaboration, showcasing hits, favorites, and never-before-heard music from the five musicals.

The two-night show will see an all-star cast of international and local musical theater artists, as well as a full orchestra and chorus. Just some of the artists included in the cast are Abigail Adriano, Nigel Huckle, Joreen Bautista, Esang De Torres, Carla Guevara Laforteza, David Ezra, Bradley Jaden, and more.
