Barbie Almalbis, Clara Benin, more OPM acts to join Munimuni concert

Munimuni’s “Alegorya” concert is looking to be an exciting one!

On social media, the five-piece band announced that OPM artists Barbie Almalbis and Clara Benin will be joining their concert on July 20.

Aside from Clara and Barbie, rising stars Keiko Necesario, known for her song “Kahit Ano Pang Mangyari,” and Sofia Abrogar, lead vocalist of indie band Any Name's Okay, will also be guest performers.

“Nasasabik kaming makasama sina Barbie Almalbis, Keiko Necesario, Clara Benin, [and] Sofia Abrogar,” the band wrote.

The "Alegorya: A Munimuni Concert" is in celebration of the band's namesake album, their second full-length one at that, which dropped on May 8.

It will be held at the University of the Philippines Theater (Villamor Hall) in Diliman, Quezon City.

Tickets went live on May 31 and are priced at P800 each for Upper Balcony, P1,000 for Lower Balcony, P1,500 for Upper Orchestra, P2,000 for Lower Orchestra, P2,500 for VIP (includes a signed poster), and P2,800 for SVIP (includes a meet and greet, soundcheck access, and a signed poster).

Munimuni comprises AJ Jiao, Ben Ayes, John Owen Castro, Jolo Ferrer, and Josh Tumaliuan and is known for songs like "Marilag," "Sa Hindi Pag-alala," "Sa'yo," "Bawat Piyesa," and more.

The band took a break amid the health crisis in 2020 but returned to the scene in August 2021 with a collab song, "Sugat," with Ben&Ben.

In July 2022, Munimuni headlined the al fresco music show "Gimme Shelter" alongside Ben&Ben, She's Only Sixteen, Cheats, and Pamungkas.
