Carla Abellana turns sentimental as she marks 38th birthday

Carla Abellana took to social media to celebrate her 38th birthday, expressing how grateful she is.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress posted a photo of herself along with snaps of flowers and cakes she received.

“As I turn another year older, not only do I feel a genuine sense of happiness, but I also feel immensely grateful,” Carla wrote.

She continued, “I may not have everything I want and need in life. I struggle often, still worry from time to time (sorry, Lord) and quietly cry every now and then- all of which are fine and completely normal. But it’s truly the simplest of things that give me peace in my heart and help keep me going.”

Carla expressed gratitude for the space to learn and grow from her mistakes, as well as for the messages from her fans.

She also felt grateful for other simpler things in life, including hugs from her nieces, the bigger bed for her and her dogs, the warm shower she gets to enjoy, her new home, the sound of her favorite beats, the kindness of strangers, and many more.

Carla ended her post by writing, “I sincerely give thanks to all of you who love me, support me, appreciate me, respect me, help me and pray for me. I thank God for all of you.”

Carla recently starred in the GMA Afternoon Prime series "Stolen Life," alongside Beauty Gonzalez and Gabby Concepcion.

She renewed her contract with the Kapuso Network in January after “a very scary year.”

She is now set to star in “Widows’ War” with Bea Alonzo, which is a spin-off of the GMA murder mystery series “Royal Blood” and “Widow’s Web.”
