SB19's Stell, Julie Anne San Jose excited to perform, banter on stage in July concert
Stell of SB19 and Julie Anne San Jose could not help but express their excitement to share the stage anew in their upcoming two-night concert on July 27 and 28.
As seen in Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the two singers were super comfortable with each other during their promo shoot.
Their concert, titled "Julie x Stell: Ang Ating Tinig," is directed by Paolo Valenciano and will be held at the New Frontier Theater.
"That's why ang ating tinig kasi ipapakita nami ni Stell 'yung iba't ibang klaseng range na makikita n'yo dito sa concert. So first 'yung range ng mga boses namin, 'yung range namin together, and 'yung range ng OPM," Julie Anne said.
"Gusto namin yung mapapakita talaga namin is something na alam namin na strength talaga namin but wala naman ding masama mag-try kami ng something new," Stell added.
Stell and Julie Anne previously worked together as coaches in "The Voice Generations," where Stell's team, Vocalmyx, won last year.
They performed Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" together with fellow coaches Chito Miranda and Billy Crawford to open the show.
Stell and Julie Anne also had an impromptu duet of "Habang May Buhay" by Wency Cornejo and often bantered with each other on the show, a dynamic they are excited to show the audience in their upcoming concert.
"Makulit din 'tong si Julie e, ang kulit-kulit nga nito e," Stell said.
"Nagiging makulit lang talaga ko pag nandiyan si Stell," Julie answered.
Stell is set to release his debut solo single "Room" on Friday. Julie Anne, meanwhile, is one of the mainstays of "All-Out Sundays."
The two will reprise their roles as coaches in the upcoming "The Voice Kids Philippines."
