Dahyun of TWICE, Jinyoung exude chemistry in first look of upcoming film ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye’
TWICE's Dahyun and South Korean actor Jung Jinyoung delighted fans with their stunning visuals and chemistry in the first stills of their upcoming movie, “You Are the Apple of My Eye.”
On Instagram, film production company Studio Take shared a carousel of photos taken from what appears to be the set of the movie to mark the start of filming.
In the photos, Dahyun and Jinyoung were both wearing their school uniforms and were seated inside a classroom.
According to the post, Jinyoung will play the role of Jinwoo, a boy “who loves to have fun,” while Dahyun will play Sunah, a “shy but determined” girl.
“The thrilling first love story they'll portray is coming soon,” the caption read.
Earlier in May, Dahyun was reported to be playing the female lead role for the Korean adaptation of the hit Taiwanese movie.
“You Are the Apple of My Eye” will also be Dahyun’s second acting project, after the 25 year-old actress was previously confirmed to make her acting debut in the upcoming independent feature film “Sprint.”
"You Are the Apple of My Eye" follows the story of high school troublemaker Ko Ching Teng (Jinwoo) and model student Shen Chia Yi (Sunah) spanning their school years to 15 years later.
Dahyun debuted with TWICE in 2015. The nine-piece group recently went to the Philippines for a fan meet on June 1.
Meanwhile, Jinyoung was a former member of the K-pop boy band B1A4 and has starred in several K-dramas such as “Love in the Moonlight.”
