Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra to play top K-drama OSTs at concert this June
This concert is the stuff of Hallyu and orchestra fans’ dreams!
The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines (KCC) have partnered up for "OST Symphony: K-Drama in Concert," featuring the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra. It’s happening on June 29, Saturday, at 2 p.m. at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila, and entrance is free to the public.
According to the event’s poster, Maestro Herminigildo Ranera will be the conductor. The award-winning orchestra is set to play the official soundtracks of top K-dramas such as “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin,” “Love in the Moonlight,” and many more.
The event is in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Philippines and the Republic of Korea's diplomatic relations. The event is also in collaboration with the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Korea Tourism Organization, the Metropolitan Theater, GMA Network, and Viu.
